Reading is one of the best and most accessible ways to learn a language. However, unless you are completely immersed in a language, it is nearly impossible to make meaningful progress through reading passively. You need to be able to identify words and grammatical concepts that give you trouble and make it a point to deliberately study those things.

Langliter makes it easy to build your vocabulary by associating all words with their dictionary form. Langliter can then underline those words regardless of how they are formed in the text. For example, no matter how a verb is conjugated, Langliter will recognize that you have marked that word for further review.

Once a word is marked for review, Langliter allows you to review your words with the onboard spaced repetition system (SRS). SRS is a method for scheduling how often you see words, scheduling the words that consistently give you more trouble more frequently.

Langliter is also aware of the underlying languages grammar. You can highlight words based on what is known as its part of speech. For example, if you struggle with the past tense subjunctive in Spanish, Langliter can highlight all instances of verbs in that form in the text. Rather than rely on a limited number of examples from a text book, Langliter provides a near infinite number of examples of important grammatical concepts in real world context.
